He was predeceased by : his parents, George Jr. Bate and Ada Bate (Larsen); and his brother-in-law Thomas Sponseller. He is survived by : his wife Kathleen Kuciemba (Robbie); his children, Ken Bate (Dawn), Greg Bate (Khris), Kendra Aquilina and Kelley Kline (Troy); the mother of his children Laura Gorski; his stepchildren, David Kuciemba, Jason Kuciemba and Kerri Graham (Brian); his daughter-in-law Debbie Larson (Brett); and his siblings, Susan Sponseller and Pedar Bate (Terri).
