He was predeceased by : his parents, Marion Gillespie and Viola Gillespie (Horning); his wife Carol L. Ropp; his son Steven; and his sisters, Virginia Clarey and Carolyn Smith.
He is survived by : his daughter Colleen Gillespie; his grandchildren, Tonya Gillespie, Eric Weinert and Dylan Weinert; his great grandchildren, Keegan, Julianna and Bentley; and his sister Janice Kubczk.
