We announce the death of Janice L Brookens (Midland, Michigan), who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 97. Janice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James McMahon and Matilda McMahon; and her husband Ron Brookens. She is survived by: her children, Dan Brookens (Beth), Todd Brookens (Diana), Mary Beth Peters (John) and Barbara Brookens; and her grandchildren, Meredith (Braden), Laura, Ben, Andrew (Hanna), Jeremy (Amanda), Matthew, Emily, Nicholas, Morgan and Sergei (Elonah).
