He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Nichols (Russell) and Kathryn Hessling (Aaron); his grandchildren, Cheyanne Gleasure (Tyler) of Brown City, Jordan Nichols of Deckerville and Patrick Hessling of Midland, Michigan; his great grandchild Leliana; his wife Jacque (Beller); his sister Juliann Ross of Fort Mill; his nephew Philip Hanushek (Kim) of Fort Mill; and his sisters-in-law, Joy Martin of Peabody, Massachusetts, Karen Fine of Lewisville, Texas and Susan Beller of Sterling Heights, Michigan..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Smith-Miner Funeral Home (2700 W Wackerly St, Midland, MI 48640). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to the Parkinson's Foundation and/or A Bridge to Community Newspaper Fund via Midland Area Community Foundation in his honor.
