She was predeceased by: her father Clarence; her husband James Jack Hughes; her daughter Julie Morton; her brother Barry Rider; and her brother-in-law Douglas Corner.
She is survived by: her children, John Hughes, Lori Hughes (Mark Athey) and Holly Troia; her grandchildren, Heather Bernelis (Jason), Heidi McIvor-Allen (JP), Amanda Charles (Joe), Mitchell Miller (Briana), Jenna Legner (Joedon), Anthony Hughes, Haley Maul (Tyler), Avery Troia and Emersyn Troia; her siblings, JoAnn Corner and Keith "Butch" Rider (Linda); and her sister-in-law Linda Rider. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and one-great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Midland Mennonite Church (2510 E Stewart Rd, Midland, MI 48640). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family in her honor.
