LaVern LeRoy Wyse Obituary
We announce the death of LaVern LeRoy Wyse (Midland, Michigan), who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 98. LaVern will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Wyse and Ruth Wyse; his son Greggory Wyse; and his grandson Andrew Copus. He is survived by: his wife June Wyse; his daughter Lynette Copus (Greg); his grandchildren, Geoffrey Copus and Megan Copus (Nick Veazey); his great grandchild Flora Veazey; his siblings, Al Wyse, Inez Uchytil (Don) and Eleanor Twining; and his daughter-in-law Melissa Paro. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Wilson Miller Funeral Home (4210 N Saginaw Rd, Midland, MI 48640). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
