Lorraine Illig Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorraine Illig in Midland, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Toutant and Jelima Toutant (Demers); and her brother Bob Toutant. She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Chum" Illig; her children, Penny Killian (Paul), Perry Illig (Rose), Chris Illig and Jeremy Illig of West Branch; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hagner (Daniel), Julie Illig (Ryan Nixon) and Corey Towner (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Naomi, Olivia, Chloe, Elise, Lexie (Kyle Reilly), Landon, Corbin, Gavin and Brodin; her great great grandchildren, Hadlee, Presleigh and Hayes; and her siblings, Elizabeth Guy and Wally Toutant (Donna).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the St. Joseph School Endowment as a way to show her continued love of the children in the community.
