It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn J. Burwick of Midland, Michigan, who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Drew and Marion Drew (Hough); her husband Arnold Burwick; her son Brian Hand; her stepson Ben Burwick; and her siblings, Richard Drew, David Drew, Dorothy Thornton (Hiram), Kathryn Larsen, James Drew, Jack Drew and Barb Crow.
She is survived by: her son Louis Hand (Sandy) of San Antonio, TX; and her great grandchild Brian J. Cottles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (2045 Lynn St, Sanford, MI 48657). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (2045 Lynn St, Sanford, MI 48657). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 10th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Jerome TWP Cemetery (67 W Center St, Sanford, MI 48657).
Memorial contributions in Marilyn's name can be made to the Sanford Senior Center, Olson Manor, or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
