He is survived by: his wife Gerry Franklin Sonnenschein; his children, Matthew Sonnenschein, Susie Sonnenschein and Annie Sonnenschein (Jerod Parsons); his brother Eric Sonnenschein (Marilyn); his nieces and nephews, Kristine Franklin, Ryan Franklin (Stacy) and Amanda Sonnenschein; and his three border collies Bugle, Sprite, and Mars.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Midland County.
