He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Garrett and Bernice Garrett (Wiltse); his brothers, Sidney and Howard; his sister-in-law Kathleen Garrett (Taylor); and his parents-in-law, Leonard and Nellie Felske (Hasty).
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his close friends, Marjorie Moore (Brian) of New Hartford, NY, Joyce Messer (Steven Bonham) of Richland, Ronald Garrett (Tina) of Freeland and Nancy Harnick (Randy) of Freeland; his grandchildren, Trent Messer and Dr. Lauren Messer (Ty Peterson); his close friends, Megan Robinson, Rachel Ewing (Kyle), Austin Garrett (Kassie Bovee), Ryan Garrett (Megan), Garrett, Jason and Erin Harnick; his great grandchildren, Trent, Kali, Tanner Bovee and Jasper Garrett; his niece Sherilyn Farris; and his nephews, Paul and Duane Garrett. He is also survived by four children and spouses.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Chippewa Nature Center, Aldersgate Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
