Richard T. Harness Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2025, at the age of 95, Richard T. Harness of Midland, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurl Harness and Velma Harness (Gooch); and his wife Betty Lou Harness. He is survived by: his children, David T. Harness and Deborah A. Harness; and his close friend Sue McCaw.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Midland Memorial Gardens (565 N Meridian Rd, Midland, MI 48640).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Toni & Trish House or Midland's American Legion Berryhill Post.
