He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert I. DeGroat and Mary Jane Katherine Moe; his son Casey; his grandson Hudson; and his sisters, Deb DeGroat and Geri Lashuay.
He is survived by: his sons, Cory Moe of Midland and Kevin Moe (Samantha) of Gladwin; his grandchildren, Makenzie, Gavin, Dakota, Carter, Mason, Bryson and Jameson; and his siblings, David DeGroat and Zoe DeGroat.
