He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Reid and Ruth Reid (Slocum); his wife Betty Loretta Letts; his son Travis; and his great grandchild Axel Jenkins.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy Gowing (Doug), Todd Reid (Michelle) and Tyler Reid (Rachel); his daughter-in-law Marie Reid; and his grandchildren, Casi Frost (Justin), Brandon Gowing (Brittany), Ali Ryder (Nate), Zachary Reid (Tori), Mackenzie Moyer (Zac), Kaitlyn Howson (Michael), Brianna Meinhold (Brennon), Carrigan Gunsell (Jay), Brooklen Reid, Piper Reid and Halle Reid. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
