He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Mercer and Dorothy Mercer; his sister Karen Mercer; his sister-in-law Tracie Mercer; his nieces, Nicole Penwarden and Leslea Capolungo; and his brothers, Gary Mercer and James Mercer.
He is survived by: his daughter Destiny Mercer; his siblings, Lesa Penwarden (Robert McGee), Scott Mercer, Timothy Mercer and Leonard Mercer; and his siblings' children, Mark (Jessica Penwarden), Michelle W. (family: Amanda G.) and Grady Mercer. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
