He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Samson and Molly Samson; and his sister Betty Toth. He is survived by: his wife Gay; his daughters, Terri Kaufman (Gale) and Tammi Bucklin (Tom); his grandchildren, Chelsea Topolewski (Gary), Andrew Bucklin (Michelle), Cody Groulx (Emily), Aaron Bucklin (Natalie Payne), Austin Bucklin and Alyssa Bucklin; his great grandchildren, Carter, Gabby, Jasper, Noah, Lydia, Arabella, Tanner Dawn and Everett; his niece Judy Huffman; and his great-niece Sherrie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ron's memory may be made to Calvary Baptist Academy.
