He was predeceased by: his parents, Devon Young and Norma Young. He is survived by: his wife Diane Young; his children, Justin Young (Tammie Young) and Stephanie Squires (Adam Squires); his grandchildren, Avery Young, Austin Young, Alec Squires and Sophia Squires; and his siblings, Mike Young (Nancy Young), Marianna Bowers (Freddie Bowers) and Tim Young (Michael Lam). He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Milan American Legion Post #268 (44 Wabash St, Milan, MI 48160). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Franklin's name may be made to American Legion Post #268.
