He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Busch and Lillian Busch (Anderson); his former wife Patricia Nyborg; his wife Donna DiMusto; his daughter Cynthia; and his siblings, Doug and Dolores.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Daryl), Laura, Andrea, Elizabeth (David), David (Susan) and Jennifer (Ben); and his grandchildren, Damon, Jennifer, Zeke, Dylan, Feron, Billy, Andrew, Ethan, Courtney, Justin, Matthew, Zach, Jillian, Jacob, Abigial, Eleanor, Haley and Shelby. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to either World Vision or Samaritan's Purse in honor of his care for children and concern for their future, which was part of the driving force of his scientific research and work.
