He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mitchell and Diane Mitchell of Belleville. He is survived by: his siblings, Joann Addington (Carvil), Carole Gambrel, Debra Hagerman (John) and David Mitchell; his children, Christina, Jessica and Joseph Jr. Mitchell (Jay); his grandchildren, Joslyn, Lillie, Reid Florian and Jackson Kivi; and his son Jay. He is also survived by his siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
