She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Smith and Burnetta Smith (Snell); her husband James Dahl, Sr.; her son James Dahl, Jr.; her granddaughter Theresa; and her siblings, LaVerne, Willard, Joan and Janet.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lesa Adkins (Ricky) of Milan and Roxanne Bingham (Dan) of North Carolina. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
