He was predeceased by: his father Richard Clarence McLaughlin; his stepfather Austin Grissom; and his siblings, William "Poncho" Carlion, Pam Roof and Rita McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his mother Peggy McLaughlin (Woodward); his children, Jeremy McLaughlin (Nicole Jacobs), Jennifer Begley (Eddie) and Richard McLaughlin (Joanne); his grandchildren, Shelby McLaughlin, Alex McLaughlin, Chevy Begley and Douglas McLaughlin; and his siblings, Tina Myers, Sally Baker, Sheila Butcher and Anthony McLaughlin.
