The family announces the passing of Dan J. Thrasher of Milford, Michigan on August 21, 2026. Dan, born on May 23, 1936, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Thrasher and Beatrice Thrasher; his wife Pearl Thrasher; his stepbrothers, Merle and Kenneth Bleavins; his grandson Dennis Snover; his sister-in-law Patricia Thrasher; and his sons-in-law, Patrick Shantry, David Stoffer and Richard Snover.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda Shantry, Lucille Stoffer, Dan Thrasher Jr. (Paulette) and Susan Snover; and his brother Dean Thrasher. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Thrive Church (680 W Livingston Rd, Highland, MI 48357).
