Matthew James Luther Obituary
The memory of Matthew James Luther of Milford, Michigan, who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Luther and Mary Luther; and his siblings, Maureen McIlroy and Miles Luther. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Luther (Rebecca), Philip Luther and Angela Maday (William); his grandchildren, Dawson, Abigail, Samantha, Nicholas, Trevor, Cameron, Logan and Sawyer; his former wife Roberta Luther; his siblings, Marilynn Lomangino, Michael Luther (Claudia), Maurice Luther (Mary), Melanie Hoy (Paul), Mark Luther (Patricia), Mary Kelly and Margaret Daugherty; and his brother-in-law Robert McIlroy Sr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Milford (404 E Liberty St, Milford Charter Twp, MI 48381). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (3700 Harvey Lake Rd, Highland Charter Twp, MI 48356). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033).
