Peter Paczkowski Obituary

Peter B. Paczkowski, 61, of Milford Michigan, unexpectedly passed at 10:42pm on Tuesday April 4th, 2023.

Pete was a family man with a great passion for the outdoors. He loved camping, boating, fishing, and most of all building his dream home on the shore of Lake Michigan. He was a selfless, loving father, and a proud Navy Veteran. On August 9th 1986 he married the love of his life, Tammy. They had two daughters, Shawn and Alex. One of the greatest joys in Pete's life was his granddaughter Sophie. Pete's love for Sophie was a shining example of the kind of person he was - kind, compassionate, and endlessly giving. Pete poured his heart and soul into everything they did, always striving to make the world a better place. He leaves behind many, including his sisters; Rose, Ruth (Joe), Rene (Ken) and Rita and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Although Pete has left this world, his spirit will continue to live on through the memories he has created with each of us. He also enjoyed working with his DTE family and worked towards building long lasting relationships.

He is now reunited with those who have gone before him. His parents, Peter and Valerie Paczkowski, and brother, Paul Paczkowski. Pete's love and light will continue to shine on. You will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

Pete's family will have open visitation on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 11, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his service which will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Wm Sullivan funeral home. Any donations to the family will go into a college fund for one of the lights of his life; Sophie Paczkowski. She was Papa's joy. Please contact Shawn Paczkowski for donations.
