She was predeceased by: her parents, John McFarlane and Mary McFarlane; her husband Kenneth; and her brother Andrew McFarlane. She is survived by: her children, Mary Kessler (Michael), James Hathaway (Sachie) and John Hathaway; her grandchildren, John Kessler (Sarah), Laura VanSteenis (Matthew), Nathan Kessler (Ariel), Erika Hathaway, Alisa Hathaway, Christopher Hathaway (Khanh) and Patrick Hathaway (Leighton); her great grandchildren, Tanner, Maraya, Jackson, Briella, Violet, Olive, Rose, Ruby, Quinn, Logan and Colson; and her sister Isabel Raether. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
