He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hastings and Katherine Hastings. He is survived by: his children, Justin Hastings (Katie Hastings) and Amanda Hastings; his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Charlotte Hastings; his siblings, Pam Albright, Kevin Hastings (Laurie) and Jennifer Candela (Steve); and his aunt Barbara Sheppard.
