She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas DeVore and Lillian DeVore; her husband Thomas N. Hicks; and her stepdaughter Susan Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Cavanary, Sean Hicks, Kevin Hicks (Melissa) and Kelly Hicks; her stepson Thomas Hicks; her grandson Travis Cavanary; her stepgranddaughter Shelby Hicks; and her siblings, Robert DeVore (Carol) and Judith Hansen (Christian). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
