She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Gist and Edna Gist (Conrad); her brother Jackie Gist; and her sisters-in-law, Sue Cunningham (Tom) and Jane Mody (Charley).
She is survived by: her husband Chuck Ross; her children, Christine Graham (Thomas) and Kevin Montgomery (Lisa); her stepchildren, Brian Ross and Theresa Talman (Matt); her grandchildren, Steven Montgomery (Kayla), Katie Montgomery and Kyle Ross; and her brothers, Charles Gist (Bonnie) and Don Gist (Sue). She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the LaVigne Home for Compassionate Care, 4085 Lapeer Road, Burton, MI 48509, in Carolyn's memory.
