He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sherman; his children, Harvey III Sherman (Tammy) and Dawn Burns (Gary); his siblings, Alice Blackmer (Mike) and Stanley Sherman; his siblings-in-law, Robert Jennings (Ruth), Geri Gillam (Roger) and Don Jennings (Blanche); and his grandchildren, Crystal Navarro (Ben), Gary Jr. Burns (Jessica), Jacob Sherman (Caitlyn), Helen Sherman, Alexandra Harris (Austin) and Sara Edwards (Anthony).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Harvey's name to the Millington Community Center, the Millington Arbela Historical Center, or the Millington Summer Festival.
