He is survived by: his children, Dana Pruitt and Kirk Phipps; his grandchildren, Jared, Hannah, Isaac and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Elijah and Evelyn; and his sister Alice Whiren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
