We bid farewell to Lonnie B. Kester of Millington, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 29, 2026 at the age of 68. Lonnie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleon Kester and Hilda Kester (Keinath); his sisters, Sharon Dekker (Larry) and Nancy Johns (Stan); and his in-laws, Raymond and Harriet Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Kester; his children, William Kester (Tina Lisecki) and Sarah Thayer (Nathanael); his grandsons, Evan and Colton Thayer; his siblings, Gailan Kester (Linda) and Tammy Kowitz (John); and his sister-in-law Brenda Price (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations and memorial gifts of remembrance in Lonnie's name can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington, Southern Links Trailway, or the Millington-Arbela Historical Society.
