He is survived by: his wife Janette Keinath (Vogts); his sons, John of Lubbock, TX and Joel (Victoria) of Longview, TX; his siblings, Steven Keinath (Carol) of Midland and Elaine Burns (Mark) of Westfield, IN; his brother-in-law Jack Geisenhaver of Millington, MI; his half-sister Marlene Wilson; his nephew Mark Metro; and his sister Evelyn Krause.
