He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bearss and Dorthea Bearss (Drummond); his wife Sonya Denman; and his siblings, Larry (Nancy Bearss) and Ada (Leon Beers).
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Faris (George) and Roger Bearss II (Ronna); his grandchildren, Christena (Todd), Antonio, Kimberly (Jeremy), Briar (Chloe), Bryce and Brynn; his great grandchildren, Michael, Dallas, Brayden and Noah; his siblings, Ralph Bearss (Maryann) and Martha Burgeson (Gill); and his caregiver Neema. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
