He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Petzold and Clara Petzold (Lindauer); his wife Jeanette; his son Brian Petzold; and his siblings, Clarence Petzold, Donald Petzold, Hilda Schmidt, Ilene Weber and Harold Petzold.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Jaruzel (Larry), Rodney Petzold (Marie), Debbie Brown, Sue Bellah (Keith) and Nancy Petzold. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
