She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Maddux and David Maddux; her husband Kenneth Monk; and her brothers, Roger, Ronald and Tom Maddux.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Monk (Gwen) of Fairview and Debra Abbe (Scott) of Cheboygan; her grandchildren, Nathan Monk (Dawn), Mitchell Abbe (Beth), Brandi Willobee (Chuck), Christina Morris-Miller (Cliff), Michelle Swoffer (Dean) and Joel Monk (Danielle); and her siblings, Rose Ragsdale, Barbara Maddux and Delbert Maddux.
