It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Owen S Smith of Mio, Michigan, who passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sidney and Thena Elizabeth Smith (Pearsall); his wife Inez Edith Holcomb; and his sisters, Thena "Peggy" Nagel (Dick) and Vonda Sedlacek (Charlie).
He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Lee Glaza (Matthew); his granddaughters, Grace Isabella of Grand Blanc and Sophia Sidney Glaza of Grand Blanc; his sister Karen Smith of Mio; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Haslock (William) of Davison and Ruth Hennig (James) of Clarkston. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
