Alan Bober Obituary
We announce the death of Alan Bober (Monroe, Michigan), who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 85. Alan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Bober and Anne Bober (Mucha). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bober (Dottie) of Brownstown; his children, Andrew (Sally) of Chapel Hill, NC, David of Boulder City, NV, Michael (Cathrine) of Denver, CO and Cynthia Menna (Phil) of Grosse Point Park; his granddaughters, Ella, Anna, Nora, Evy Bober and Madeline Gibson (Menna); his great grandchild Eli Gibson; and his sisters, Anita Kunkle (Larry) and Adrienne Bodnar (Tim). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Home - Brownstown (23700 West Rd, Brownstown Charter Twp, MI 48183). The lying in state will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (186 Cole Rd, Monroe, MI 48162). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
