He was predeceased by : his parents, Roger Evans and Ina Evans (Zimmerman); his grandparents, Kyle, Pauline Evans Senior, Jake and Bessie Zimmerman; his aunt Thelma Turner; and his mother-in-law Mary Lou Pfund.

He is survived by : his wife Donna Pfund; his son Matthew Evans of Monroe; his brothers, Kevin Evans of Flat Rock, Dennis Evans of Monroe and Ryan Evans (Peggy) of Monroe; his brother-in-law Duane Pfund (Maureen) of Port St; and his uncles, Kyle, Thomas and James Evans. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
