In loving memory of Alice R. Schmidt of Monroe, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who departed this world on July 16, 2025 at the age of 81. In the vast expanse of eternity, Alice shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alice farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Card (Peter) and Rosalie Card (Ballien); her grandson Adam Leidel; and her brothers, Clarence and Frank Card.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Schmidt; her child Michele Leidel (Chris); her grandchildren, Jacob Leidel (Lauren) and Thomas Leidel (Elliah); and her great grandchildren, Juniper and Alexander Leidel.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
