With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernadina Taormina (Monroe, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Polizzi and Josephine Polizzi (Rappa); her brother Chiccio Polizzi; and her nephew Salvatore Grippi. She is survived by: her children, Marianna Frisina (Salvatore) of Monroe, John Taormina (Crystal) of Monroe, Frank Taormina (Annette) of Monroe and Linda Taormina of Monroe; her sisters, Maria Grippi (Mikele), Jovanna Belechi (Mazza), Nina Solomon and Mommina Romano (Frank); and her grandchildren, John Frisina, Sam Frisina, Maria Towne (Charley), Johnnie Taormina (Kim), Ashley Steward (James), Salvatore Taormina (Payton), Lino Taormina (Karli), Amanda Friar (Lester Marks) and Nick Friar (Alyssa). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In honor of Bernadina's memory, memorial contributions are suggested to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
