She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. Kerns and Wilma I. Kerns (Lemons); and her husband James B. Redmon. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Redmon (Diane) of LaSalle, Jack "Dwight" Redmon (Terry) of Monroe, Denise Redmon of Newport, Debbie Cooper (Larry) of Knoxville and Donna Cunningham of Monroe; and her brothers, Larry Kerns (Lucile) of Rossville and Joseph Kerns of Chattanooga. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
