He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carlos Sr. Zavala and Julie Zavala (Maloche); his wife Shana Zavala; his children, Gwendolyn Zavala, Izzabelle Wood, Layla Stump and Modesti Stump; his sister Amanda Zeitz (Jared); and his grandparents, Gloria Zavala, Kathleen Maloche, Elias Zavala and Robert "Bob" Maloche.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
