She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Stewart and Golden Stewart (Bowen); her husband Norman E. Fruchey; her son Richard Fruchey; her grandson Brent Fruchey; and her sisters-in-law, Terry and Sally Fruchey.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Kopke (Gary) of Newport, MI, Diane Watson of Silverhill, AL, Terrie Ferguson of Colby, KS, Ronald Fruchey of Indianapolis, IN, Leroy Fruchey (Nadia) of Sutherland, VA and Elizabeth Pifer (Matthew) of Monroe; and her brother Kenneth Stewart (Hazel) of Archibold, OH. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
