She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Sara and Eleanor Sara (Cherry); her significant other Howard Morrin; and her brother John Sara. She is survived by: her sister Mary Jane Watkins (Mike) of Dearborn Heights, MI; her children, Christina Morrin of Atlanta, GA, Mark Morrin (Aimee) of Chicago, IL, Holly Cramner (Gary) of Monroe, MI, Ryan Morrin (Kerri) of Atlanta, GA and Elise Morrin of Monroe, MI.; and her granddaughters, Kayleigh, Lucy, Gillian, Jolie and Grace. She is also survived by brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allore Chapel - Martenson Family (203 E Elm Ave, Monroe, MI 48162). A rosary was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (127 N Monroe St, Monroe, MI 48162). A Mass was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Doctors without Borders and the Public Broadcasting System per her wishes.
