He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ansell and Marilyn Ansell (Simmers); his former wives, Dorothy Ansell and Rita Morgan; his daughter Carrie Ansell; and his siblings, Wally Ansell, Bill Ansell, Roger Ansell, Danny Nightwine and Sissy Nightwine.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ansell; his daughters, Sherry Bussell (Al) and Charlene McCloud (Chris Johnson); his stepchildren, Anthony Majtyka, Erica Majtyka and Shawn Majtyka; his grandchildren, Lorin Pooley (Ray), Cameron Bussell (Raven), Katelynn Whitson (Harrison Thompson), Christopher Whitson (Hailey Sloane) and Kera Starnes; his great grandchildren, Snow, David, Mila, Owen, Avery, Bonnie, Luna, Breyden and Keegan; and his brothers, Robert and Paul Ansell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
