With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles F. Holmes (Monroe, Michigan), born in McRoberts, Kentucky, who passed away on September 2, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Patricia Yales; and his brothers, Ronald Holmes (Ellen), Larry Holmes, Danny Holmes, Cossie Holmes and Joseph Holmes.
He is survived by: his children, David Charles Holmes (Angela), Robert Holmes and Rebecca Pence (Christopher); his stepsons, Douglas Miller (Danielle), Dennis Miller and Dale Miller (Erin Stirzinger); his brothers, Teddy Holmes (Linda) and Freddy Holmes (Charlotte); his sisters-in-law, Carol Holmes, Joy Holmes, Susan Holmes and Brenda Holmes; his grandchildren, Richard Miner (Raven), Kyle Davies, Carter Davies and Alyssa Holmes; his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Miller, Madison Miller, Breanna Miller and Hunter Miller; and his great grandchildren, James Miner and Melody Rose Miner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
