He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tanner and Estelle Tanner; and his siblings, Ray Tanner, Peggy Bevins, Susa Studdard, Roger Tanner and Algienon Tanner.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Shane Tanner (Fawn), Bret, Lisa Bruce Gausden and Kelli Goacher (Jereme); his grandchildren, Blake, Savanah, Skyler, Conner, Kiley and Brennan; and his siblings, Betty Sutton, Guery Tanner (Sandy), Gale Murphy, Eddie Tanner (Kay), Brenda Villarreal (Joe) and Gloria Tanner. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
