He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kilgus and Isabell Kilgus (Herbst); his wife Carol M. Zimmerman; his grandson Alan Stevens; his sister Janet Adams; his siblings-in-law, Ralph Zimmerman and Luann Smith; and his niece Tina Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Kilgus (Donna) of Erie and Donna Jean Golema, Jr. (Joseph) of Wyandotte. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
