Donald A. Toeppe Sr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald A. Toeppe Sr. of Monroe, Michigan, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on August 25, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Toeppe and Mary Toeppe (Dudley); his former wife Norma J. Vallance; his spouse E. Jean Dushane; his grandchildren, Lorin Toeppe and Keliegh Toeppe; and his brothers, Larry and Ken Toeppe.

He is survived by: his children, Ruth Silsbe (Don) of Tryon, NC, Donald Toeppe, Jr. (Sharon) of Monroe, David Toeppe, Sr. (Kathy) of Monroe, JoAnn Thornton (Ron) of Monroe and Daniel Toeppe (Michele) of Monroe; his siblings, Victor Toeppe (Helen) of Texas, Mary Laurene Toeppe of Ohio, Dorothy Ameling (Howard) of Ohio, Raymond Toeppe (Shirley) of Ohio, Juliana Wright of Ohio, Angela Klisz, Jr. (Andrew) of Ohio and Ursula Wolfe (Larry) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Amy Jo Silsbe, Scott Silsbe, Joseph Toeppe, David Stephen Toeppe, Luke Toeppe, Leigh Tipper, Jennifer Dostert, David Toeppe, Jr., Jason Thornton, Becky Quick, Charles Toeppe, Caitlin Toeppe and Candace Toeppe; and his stepsons, Mark and Greg Dushane. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
