He is survived by: his children, Shane Margherini of Detroit and Jesica Margherini (D. J. Willingham) of Westland; his granddaughters, Layla Ainscough, Jemma Margherini and Nina Margherini; his father Donald R. Margherini Sr. of Adrian; his siblings, Tina Lelo of Monroe, Cheryl Margherini of Adrian and Randy Margherini (Nancy) of Westland; and his fiancé Lynn Kalita-Hausch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
