She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jones and Rose Jones (Williams); her husband Gerald W. "Jerry" Bowling; and her grandson Gerald W. "Jeb" Bowling, III. She is survived by: her children, Gerald W. "Jerry" Bowling, Jr. (Leah) of Corryton, TN and Rosemary Lenz of Dundee; her sisters, Irene Teague of Powell Valley, TN and Nancy McCay of Dalton, GA; her sisters-in-law, Frankie Johnson, Mary Jones and Linda Jones; and her grandchildren, Ajay Cousino (Jenna), Alex Lenz and Jared Bowling (Sara). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, Inc. (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Heritage Missionary Baptist Church.
